The Actors Conservatory Theatre in Lewisville, Texas is an all volunteer, nonprofit children's theatre presenting family oriented musicals every summer, fall, winter and spring, by children and for children since it was originally founded in 1999. The theatre is dedicated to bringing classic children's literature to young minds through theatre. Children also learn about the authors and their works during the six-week rehearsal period. No experience is necessary and audition dates are announced throughout the year through the school district and local papers. Any child that auditions receives a role. Children must be in kindergarten and a small registration fee is charged during the school year. Annual summer musicals are free to those auditioning and children as young as three are eligible.
